  • Four (4) hoist points provided to lift fan stator module & stand using overhead crane(s) & hoist(s) o Rotate entire assembly 90⁰ from horizontal to vertical positions & back.
  • Designed to safely store/transport fan stator module of GEnx-1B/-2B engines via air & ground.

  • Stand (with engine) not to be moved if/when engine/cradle not secured by pins & shipping braces.
  • Stand (with engine) must be moved only by sling & shock-absorbing forklift truck/pallet dolly-loader.
  • May be raised via forklift (empty stand or with engine in fully raised/lowered position) from either side.

  • Includes self-contained manual jackscrew for rotating cradle & engine 32° CCW (ALF) to achieve minimum height/width to pass through large side cargo door.
  • Suitable for air transport on main deck of B747 or B777 freighters only in axial orientation & must be secured to aircraft floor with straps (in accordance with Weights & Balance Manual).
  • Compliant with General Electric Statement of Work in height-restricted air/truck trailer shipping mode (for Deutsche Lufthansa AG).

  • Tie-down rings offer secure placement during long distant hauling of unit.

  • Consists of four (4) shock-absorbing polyurethane treat wheels with position locks & face brakes o Each caster 5” wide x 10” diameter with 5,000 LBS capacity.
  • Engine with cradle pins securely into place quickly & easily.

    • O Bootstrap Adapter Assembly (AM-1677) for air shipping
  • Designed to accommodate CFM56-2 engines on: o Rollover Stand Cradle (AM-1537).
