Lines or streaks always appear in printouts when the cartridges begin to run out of ink. A cartridge may be running out of ink even if the graphic shows ink remaining (see the note at the start of this section). Click the Services tab, then the Service This Deviceicon. In your printing application, click File, click Print, and click Properties.
Select the Settings menu, then the Print Settingssubmenu, and finally the Printer Toolbox.
Click Start and select HP Solution Center. If you have installed a refilled or remanufactured print cartridge, or a cartridge that has been used in another printer, the ink level indicator will be inaccurate or unavailable. Or you want to check cartrage ink level in computer follow the instruction under this line. If you want to check through cartrage, it is not possible to check the ink level. underneath that will be approx how many characters will be able to be printed. 1000 is good, 2000 means that a warning was already shown about the ink level being low and 3000 means your out (or very close). down at the bottom will be cartridge 1 (color) and 2 (black). let go after a second or two and it will print a page that will show some information about the printer at the top. Go to your printer and disconnect the printer from wifi.Hold down the power button and press the x button. On the app, press the printer with the incompatible ink cartridge. Open your app and go to ‘printer status.’. Enable ‘bidirectional support’- happy printing!. Find ‘printer properties’ or ‘advanced printer settings.’. On your computer under ‘control panel or settings,’ visit printer settings. If your printer uses more than two cartridges, repeat steps 5 and 6 until all of the ink cartridges are successfully installed. Power off the printer for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Make sure to insert the incompatible ink cartridges, one at a time, first. Insert the next incompatible ink cartridge, one at a time. 
Plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.Power off the printer and unplug its power cord from the wall- wait 10-15 minutes.Place the incompatible ink cartridge back in the printer.
Remove all of the cartridges from the printer. 
Here is a general procedure to override the incompatible HP ink cartridge: Firstly, make sure the ink cartridge has all of the plastic coverings off, is wiped down with a cotton ball or another soft, scratch-proof material.
